Ryan Burkum joined the company in 2005 and is our Plant Health Care Coordinator. He holds an Associates Degree in Forest Technology from the New York State Ranger School in Wanakena and a Bachelors Degree in Forest Resource Management from the College of Environmental Science and Forestry of Syracuse. Ryan has his Game of Logging level one certification, is a NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Certified Pesticide Applicator, and is certified in First Aid and CPR. Ryan comes from a logging family near the Western edge of the Adirondack Park and spends his free time with his wife and son.
